Anita Manwell

Anita Manwell, Ed.D.; MS

Academic Chair; Professor

Dr. Anita Manwell brings 15 years of public school teaching experience from both self-contained and departmentalized settings. Her work as an educator and as a Title I coordinator enhances her current role as Academic Chair and Professor in the School of Teacher Education.

At ¶¶Òõ̽̽App, she challenges preservice teachers to develop theoretical and pedagogical understanding through classroom instruction and supervision. Her passion for teaching and learning is evident in the courses she teaches.

INTERESTS

Anita's research interests include literacy instruction and reading motivation.
